School Aid Runs
Click on the following link for the Executive Budget’s proposed School Aid Runs for individual school districts. These figures reflect the governor’s proposal to merge Expense Based (Reimbursable) Aids into Foundation Aid. These figures are subject to negotiation with the state legislature and as such are not final. RSA recognizes that this plan is harmful to our schools, as proposed. We will work with state leaders to arrive at a more equitable and sufficient school aid plan. At the least, the plan will need to restore the state’s commitment to reimburse school districts for promised aid for the traditional reimbursable categories, plus a sufficient Foundation Aid total and adjustments to the Foundation Aid formula to account for increased poverty, decreased local property wealth, the increased cost addressing the needs of English Language Learners and student mental health issues. If you have impacts from the Executive Budget proposal that would be particularly burdensome, please email RSA, so that we can include your information in our advocacy efforts.
