Program Description:

Please join the Rural Schools Association of New York as we host Jen Rudolph, Director of Pre-College & State Initiatives at the Council for Opportunity in Education, for an information session on two federally funded TRIO grants: Educational Talent Search and Educational Opportunity Centers.  Both competitions are slated to be open by the end of this year, and focus on serving students who qualify as low income and first-generation college attenders.  Specifically, the Educational Talent Search program is funded to serve grades 6-12 while Educational Opportunity Centers are funded to serve adults.  Learn about the components of these grants that could provide 5 years of funding (over $200,000 per year) for your college readiness and adult education efforts.
